ISLAMABAD: Nasir Baig Chughtai aka NBC has resigned from Abb Takk TV Channel where he served as Director News for More than 2 years. According to Pakistan Media Updates Sources, he has joined BOL TV Channel as Senior Executive Vice President. Abb Takk Channel would have to face hard time in the absence of him. His decision to leave comes as a big collapse to the channel that he was the pillar of the channel. He was the Director News and Current Affairs, and the face off Abb Takk with his famous program ‘NBC on Air’.
Popularly recognized by his initials Nasir Baig Chughtai, he did confirm the news on Twitter that he decided to quit. He resigned and would commence his new job at BOL from December 1. Nasir Baig Chughtai is a Geo leading member and took that channel’s launch team in Dubai. He gave out there in various aptitudes and at one stage was their Executive Director. He also had a period at ARY News. He stayed associated with daily Jang In the 1980s serving as Chief News Editor and Deputy Editor.
Abb Takk has faced pretty a few resignations with Islamabad Bureau Chief Farrukh Tanveer Malik resigning in October and anchor Adil Abbasi leaving starting of this month. The channel’s Executive Producer of Web and Current Affairs, Majid Siddqui also leaves recently.
