Lahore: Punjab Food Authority has become center of attraction from the last few months due to its activeness and brilliant work but the authority is in trouble nowadays. According to the media reports, Lahore High Court has strictly stopped Punjab Food Authority for posting raid photos on social media. Justice Mamoon Rasheed of Lahore High Court hear the case and ordered Punjab Food Authority not to post any picture of bakeries and restaurants.
On the other hand, Punjab Food Authority is still posting the pictures of bakeries and restaurants where the officials have conducted raid which is clear violation of the court orders. During the hearing of this case, Restaurant Association told the court that the identity cannot be revealed until anyone proved guilty in the courts, according to law. They told that Ayesha Mumtaz immediately post the pictures of restaurants on the social media which is clear violation of law. They asked that the court should stop the authority for posting pictures on social media.
The honorable court has stopped the authority for posting pictures and videos of restaurants and bakeries and asked Punjab Food Authority to respond by issuing a notice.
