Pakistan_IdolAfter holding successful first season of popular Pakistani reality singing competition, Geo Television is ready to launch Pakistan Idol Season 2. According to the sources of Pakistani media industry, Geo Television Network has decided to launch Pakistani Idol Season 2 next year. The auditions of the singing competition will be started from the month of January and will took several days to complete the initial process of auditions from all around Pakistan. Name of the host and judges have not been decided yet but it may be finalized within next few months by the management of the channel.

Pakistan Idol is part of the Idols Franchise, which was created by Simon Fuller and owned by 19 Entertainment and Fremantlemedia. Geo Television had taken the rights of Pakistan Idol for Pakistan in 2007 but due to some reasons it was started in 2013. The first season of Pakistan Idol was hosted by Mohib Raza while the judges were Hadiqa Kiani, Ali Azmat and Bushra Ansari. The show got popularity and had been widely appreciated all around the country. After very tough competition, singer Zamad Baig had won the contest and signed a contract for album with Geo Television Network.

It is to be stated that the management of the Geo Network has recently taken some steps to increase its viewership and some big changes will be seen on its screen within few months.
