According to the reports, Federal Board Revenue (FBR) has sent legal notice of income tax to 11 renowned showbiz personalities for not paying due tax. The 11 Pakistani celebrities who have received legal notice from FBR are Saba Parvez, Nadeem Baig, Babar Ali, Hina Shaheen, Veena Malik, Khushboo Arbaz, Rambo, Irum Hassan, Zaib Chaudhry, Moamar Rana and Sawera Nadeem.
FBR has also send issued income tax notices to renowned singers, drama writers and TV anchors for not paying their due taxes. 22 cricketers of national team like Shahid Afridi, Umar Akmal, Misbahul Haq, Wahab Riaz, Azhar Ali, Taufeeq Omer, Abdul Razzaq also had to face legal notice from FBR. According to the details, the notices have been sent to 11 media celebrities as they didn’t pay taxes on income they have earned from commercials, from their annual contracts and other resources.
Earlier, prominent and renowned singers like Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Ali Zafar was blamed for not paying millions of taxes regardless of earning in Millions as they are used to earn millions for their one concert.
