Mr. Yousaf Baig Mirza a senior media man experienced in working for Public Sector and Private sector of Pakistan and some other countries too. In the past He had held office of key position at State TV for a number of years. Led the startup of number of Pakistani Channels, he is a man with fine leadership qualities.
A Major portion of his career was spent at Pakistan Television as Managing Director, he held this office three times in three different regimes for a considerable period of time. PTV proved to be his Mother Institute which groomed him, trained his and equipped him with valuable skills. His tenure at PTV is regarded as the most successful period of PTV as he worked for the betterment of the State TV and his initiatives produced fruitful results.
Viewership of the State TV along with the revenues went sky high. He played a vital role in the launch of Dunya News he was part of the Launch Team, at a key position there his efforts brought positive results as he managed to get the channel launched in a short period of time that too successfully.
He was the founding Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Channel 92 HD he led the start-up team and successfully launched the channel again in a very short period.
He was awarded ‘Media Man of Decade’ award by Advertising Association of Pakistan. He also faced difficult times in his career he was dismissed from his position of Managing Director Pakistan Television on the Orders of Islamabad High Court.
