After Paris attacks, another big debate has been started on social media regarding Safety Check option by popular social media website, Facebook. People have started questioning that why Facebook had not given Safety Check before Paris attacks. This debate has gone viral just after Paris attacks and people from all over the world criticize the management of Facebook. After receiving so many complaints, Founder and CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg has finally issued his statement on behalf of Facebook, in which he had replied to all those people who have criticized this action.
In his statement issued on official Facebook account, Mark Zuckerberg has said that the policy of Facebook was to only active Security Check option on natural disasters before Paris attacks. But after this attack, the management of the popular social media website decided to active Safety Check option for human disasters also. Mark Zuckerberg has also mentioned that it is the policy of Facebook to care all the people on equality basis and the management of the Facebook will be worked hard to help suffered people in this type of situations, in future.
It is to be noted that Mark Zuckerberg has also appreciated those people who have raised questions regarding this attempt.
