Times TV Channel PakistanKarachi: The Express Media Group so far in last two years has closed down its projects that failed to contribute to the success of the media group. Times TV, owned by the express media group would soon close its channel, next week. Financial constraints are said to be the primary reasons for the failure of the smooth running of the TV channels.

The media group had earlier introduced Hero TV and Express 24/7 but they met the same fate as the Times TV is likely to be.

Times TV made started its transmission three months back, but owing to the financial constraints as the sources say, would end its journey. After the Hero TV failed as a project, Times TV took over its place which was aimed to provide the viewers with info, entertainment and diverse programs value. In late 2011, the English language channel, Express 24/7 also faced abrupt closure on the basis.

The Express Media Group is owned by the Lakson Group. They are active in the field of journalism with wide circulation of English and Urdu national newspapers. The credible media group enjoys introducing the first internationally affiliated newspaper Express Tribune in April 2010 which is partnered with the New York Times global edition. While the Urdu national founded in September 1998 is published from as many as 11 cities across the country.
