Karachi: Nasir Baig Chughtai (Generally Known as NBC) is a credible and veteran journalist who is on high ranking list of hiring by the leading news channels of the Pakistani electronic mediums, Samaa and Geo news. Media sources have learnt the two channels to be engaged in associating NBC with their channels.
It is pertinent here to mention that the figure is known for his professional skills and has earned name through his extensive knowledge and expert attribution. Currently, he is part of another news channel, Abb Takk, to which he had immensely participated. He is said to be among the fore launching members who have had taken the responsibility of making the airing of the new channel possible.

Presently he is designated as Director of News and Current Affairs at Abb Takk News Channel since its transmission began the following year in the month of April.
Chughtai had also been among the pioneers of establishing Geo Channel. At high positions he has had been associated with the Jang Group and then with Geo Channel. He has served at various capacities, from Executive Director to Chief News Editor and Deputy Editor for the past several years.
Geo channel is on look to re-hiring the journalist after Azhar Abbas vacated the Managing Director (MD) position in August.
According to media sources, giving tough time to the upcoming channel BOL is among one of the tactics of the channel, which includes hiring highly skilled and professional media men.
BOL Television Network is soon to launch its transmission which is said to create new distinctive name in the electronic media.
