Kaanch Ki Gurya hitting screens of Geo TV from 30th March 2015 at 8:00 PM replacing current drama Aap ki Kaneez. The story of Kaanch Ki Gurya revolves around the girl name, Manal, who is a sensitive girl and has to struggle hard in her life because she is an orphan. Her mother belongs to a rich family but marries a poor man. The girl Manal struggling against all odds after her parent’s death. After her parents death she is sent to her grandfather and put effort to win his heart. Sami khan is adopted kid of her grandfather who is in love with Manal. The story can be related to every other girl in Pakistani society who is sensitive by nature and if mishandled can be broken just like a fragile glass. The girls are clear and pure and broken easily.
Elegant and young actress Yumna Zaidi is playing the main role as Manal. Sami Khan will also be seen as Daim who loves Manal. Other talented cast include Qavi Khan who was honored with Sitara-e-Imtiaz, Behroz Sabzwari, Hina Bayat, Sundas Tariq and Hareb Farouq.
The drama is written by Faiza Iftikhar who made her comeback after two years with this new drama. It is directed by Nadeem Siddique.
