Mir ShakeelJang/Geo Network Owner Mir Shakeel Ur Rehman has successfully escaped from Pakistan, Media reports claimed. Pakistani TV Channel report that A Government institute help Mir Shakeel to runaway to Dubai. Pakistan’s largest media group Geo said that they would call against a 26-year jail expression for its proprietor for profanity, the latest wind in a long-running dispute between the station and the military.

A court ordered punishment to Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman, proprietor of Geo News, over a broadcast viewing people dancing to a song about the marriage of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad’s daughter. The channel looked a swing of profanity complaints about the show, infuriating allegations that the country’s disciplinary profanity law was being utilized to silence detractors of the military. The allegations were brought soon after the station openly responsible the shelling of one of their top journalists on the military’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) detective agency. The army forbade the accusations.

“The spiteful acts of the announced criminals set fire to the reaction of all the Muslims in the country … which would not be obtained unconscientiously and there is required to firmly restrained such propensity,” an anti-terror court in the city of Gilgit said in its judgment. The channel’s proprietor, the host of the morning show and two guests were organized to compensate fines of $16,600, given up their passports and put on the market their properties.

The order is not likely to be realized because verdicts by courts in the northern Gilgit-Baltistan region do not be relevant to the rest of Pakistan. Geo TV would request to the Supreme Court against both the decision and verdict. Rights groups said that the law is more and more being utilized to resolve personal scores. This year has seen an evidence number of profanity cases and rising aggression against the accused.
