As the biographical drama film Manto, on the life of popular Pakistani writer Sadat Hassan Manto has been released all around the country, the distributor of the film, Geo Films has failed to hold its screening professionally. The bloggers who have been invited for the screening of the film in Karachi and Lahore, insulted by the management of Geo Films and they left the show without watching screening of the film.
Most of the bloggers of Pakistan have criticized the management of Geo Films for their insult and registered their protest on social media by posting Tweets and status. They said that some non-invited people entered in the screening of the film Manto and the management of both the events in Karachi and Lahore, have let them enter in the screening instead of bloggers who have tickets.

Film Manto is directed by Sarmad Sultan Khosat and produced by Babar Javed. The cast of the film includes Sarmad Sultan, Sania Saeed, Mahira Khan, Saba Qamar, Nadia Afghan and Nimra Bucha. The film has been released on 11th of September, 2015 in cinemas across Pakistan.
