A veteran nobleman of Pakistani TV Industry Mr. Yousaf Baig Mirza ex MD PTV has joined GEO Network as Managing Director (MD). He will be filling the gap which was created by resignation of Azhar Abbas last year, who had joined BOL Network as President BOL News. Mr. Yousaf Baig Mirza was working as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Channel 92 HD, he led the founding team of the channel.
He is very well known for the record time in which he set up 92 HD with the help of energetic start-up team his work speaks for itself as the channel is established now. Mr. Yousaf Baig has experience of over 15 years not just working in Pakistan but abroad too. He remained MD PTV for three times in three different reigns. His time is regarded as the most successful time of PTV who took commendable initiatives resulting in commercial success of the State owned Channel. He also had experience to work with Express Media Group before joining 92 HD. He was also part of a launch team of Dunya News he played an important role in the launching of Dunya News in a short time.
Mr. Yousaf is very famous for his skills as Administrator. He is also very efficient Operations Manager, content developer and understands marketing very well. His contributions are praiseworthy not just for Private sector TV Channels but for the State TV too.
