Use of social media has now become necessary for all the professionals around the world. For all those journalists, popular online social networking provider Facebook has launched a unique news finding tool for the journalists. This newly launched service named as “Signal” will provide a unique experience to all the journalists around the world.
“Signal is a trending tool for journalists that sources videos, text, photos and data from Facebook and Instagram. Currently, Signal is only available to journalists and is most useful for English-language newsrooms.” Service described by Facebook.
Journalists would be able to gather all the sections of news including crime, politics, technology, health, sports and many others including entertainment. They will also able to follow different politicians, celebrities, social activists, top organizations and many other as well through this service. Journalists would just have to connect with the Signal page which is strictly only for journalists.
It is to be noted that this service has been launched in US newsrooms only just for testing purpose, and will be soon launched in other countries as well.
