After receiving so many request by the users, popular and widely used social networking service Facebook has decided to launch “Dislike” button. But this button will not work as a dislike button, although it will be used as a sign of sympathy on the shared post. While announcing this news in a Question and Answer session held at the Headquarter of Facebook in California, Founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg has announced that the new button of Dislike will be launched soon throughout the world, but for a limited time period as a testing service.
“I think people have asked about the Dislike button for many years…today is the day where I actually get to say that we’re working on it, and are very close to shipping a test of it,” Mark Zuckerberg said in an event.
However he also clarify on the general perception of Dislike button by saying that the newly introduced button will not actually work as dislike button, instead it will be a sign of sympathy. For e.g. If anyone is posting the news of his accident or death of his relative or friend, people think whether to like it or not. In this context, Dislike button will work as a sign of sympathy for the person who will share the post.
