Facebook has launched Page Posts Organic location targeting services for the first time in Pakistan . Recently Facebook just added the new location targeting services for the users in Pakistan. This service was already available in many other countries.
Now users will be been able to target by country, state/province and city.
Previously this facility was only available for the ad targeting but now you can target any of your posts to a certain demographic. This option is only available for the Facebook page not for Facebook accounts.
The location targeting facility help you to specify your targeting audience by selecting the cities or areas on the post you can create boundaries for you post that how can see your post.
To use this Facility:
- Write a post that you want to restrict
- You’ll see the cross-hairs icon in your status area. To start narrowing your target, just click on it and then click Add Targeting as shown.
- The new option will pop up with option preferred audience or audience re4striction
- Now you can select the geological area to restrict your post visibility
- Select save and post
