coke studio 6 videosLahore: The much anticipated season 6 of Coke Studio is all set to entertain the lovers of the music once again. The Coca Cola Company a day back has announced to the siring of the live music show from very this month. Fresh episodes would begin from the mid of October. There will be 8 episodes with two weeks break of Muharram.
This time the ‘Coke Studio’ has much more to offer. Only the local singers would not be recording their vocals but artists across the globe would be participating in the show. Guests’ musicians from Pakistan, Nepal, Morocco, Italy, Turkey, Norway and Serbia would be featured.
Artists who would be performing include Atif Aslam, Sanam Marvi, Ali Azmat, Fariha PErvez, Ayesha Omer, Alamgir Ali, Abrar-ul-Haq, Umair Jaswal, Zeb and Haniya, Asad Abbas, Zara Madani, Rostam Mirlashari, Saieen Zahoor, Muazzam Ali Khan, Zoe Viccaji.
Ustad Mahmand loond , a ‘Burendo’ , a Tamboora player from Tharparkar will be featured who can play three instruments at the same time.
Coke studio 6 would record vocals from the Eastern and western countries, blending the music across the globe from regional areas to those at far places. The Pakistani music television show, where the music performances, recorded live in the studios would help to promote the Pakistani music and invite the foreigners to give new dimension to the local industry.
