Shaista Lodhi (Formerly known as Shaista Wahidi) has joined Hum TV, the sources of Pakistan Media Updates claim that she has recently finalized deal with Hum TV. A year back she left the country as her Morning Show on Geo TV was suspended due to blasphemous content. She left the country because of fear of her safety. She will be coming back to the screen after a year. She was doing the morning show ‘Utho Jago Pakistan’ at Geo TV. The show which was the reason for suspension of the morning show had Veena Malik and Asad Khan (her husband) as guest the transmission turned out to be blasphemous un-intentionally. People across Pakistan became furious over the host of morning show and guests alike.
The sources told Pakistan Media Updates that Sanam Jung will discontinue to host the morning show at Hum TV ‘Jago Pakistan Jago’ and it is reported the Shaista Lodhi will host the morning show at Hum TV as Sanam Jung will no longer host it. Sanam hosted the morning show for the first time at Hum TV back in 2013 she hosted the show only for 21 days then. Later on in 2014 she started to permanently host the morning show ‘Jago Pakistan Jago’ at Hum TV.

Sanam Jung started her career in 2008 as a host at Play TV, she remained with Play TV for 2 years after which she joined Aag TV as VJ she worked with Aag TV till 2012 meanwhile she also started Modelling and made appearances in the commercials too. In the year 2013 she made her debut in acting she starred for the first time in the drama serial ‘Dil e Muztar’ she acted as ‘Sila’ her outstanding debut performance also nominated her for the ‘Hum Award for Best Television Sensation Female’ which she won. Her amazing performance in her first serial presented her with many good opportunities to perform in many successful drama serials which include ‘Muhabbat Subha Ka Sitara Hai’ and ‘Alvida’ both at Hum TV.

Shaista hosted the morning Show at ARY Digital ‘Good Morning Pakistan’ for number of years. Later on in September 2010 she joined Geo TV to host their flagship morning show ‘Utho Jago Pakistan’ she remained with Geo TV until May 2014 when she had to leave because of the blasphemous program of her.
