wOn the festive occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, the screening of the Pakistani Waar movie in 42 cinemas across the country earns up to Rs 11.4 m, sources have reported. On the opening day, the movie sold out for 11, 397, 930 tickets, setting on a new record, breaking off the previous one set by the SRK movie Chennai Express.

The Bollywood movie which was released in the beginning of the year had earned Rs 9 million on its opening day but the box office has been hit by the immense response received by the Waar movie.

The high budgeted film of the Pakistan film industry with investment of US dollar 2.5 million, stands out to invite people with its skilled team, the actors, actresses, well direction, dialogue delivery and good story. Shaan Khan being the lead hero has Shamoon Abbasi against him as the villain.

With the over whelming response by the audience, it is expected that the movie can earn up to Rs 55 million in the first week of its opening, breaking record of the previous block buster movie Mein Hoon Shahid Afridi (MHSA) and Chennai Express. The movie would be distributed in more than 25 countries.

Long holidays and the Eid occasion have contributed immensely in the promotion of the movie, making it a big hit apart from the attractive package it offers!
