Tooba Ghoomro news anchorTooba Ghoomro, a graduate student from Karachi University in Economics pursued her career in media in the year 2005. The Sindhi journalist started off her career with the national channel KTN moving to Thailand and staying there for more than 3 years and working in the Bangkok Media City, where she served many jobs. She had been active in news production, news reporting, editing, reading and doing various talk shows in the channel. She has had also worked with the known Sindhi media men.
For some time she remained off the screen, however rejoined media in the year 2009 after signing with the known ARY Digital Channel. There she was associated with the production of a business show, ‘Business Bazaar’ and served as news caster. According to her, getting job in a popular news channel like ARY, despite being Sindhi is an achievement that she considers. In fact, she is the youngest Sindhi media icon.
She belongs from a liberal family. She is the eldest among her siblings. An interview with a fan of her reveals her experiences and family life. She considers herself as a humble, dedicated person who achieved what she wanted to be through her hard work and her family’s support. Getting into the media field has earned her name and reputation and she now continues to work harder and better to excel in the filed.
Presently Tooba resides in the United States where she is pursuing her masters in journalism,print media and also doing course to learn Spanish language which elaborates her as young, enthusiastic and passionate girl. She is active on twitter and has account on LinkedIn.
