Early Life and Education
Sarfaraz Khan was born on 2nd of March in Karachi and got early education from his hometown. In 2000, Sarfaraz Khan completed his Matriculation in Science and took admission in St. Patrick’s College Karachi. In 2002, he had completed his Intermediate in Commerce and took admission in B.COM in the same college. Sarfaraz Khan successfully completed his B.COM in 2005 from St. Patrick’s College Karachi and got Bachelor degree from University of Karachi. He then took admission in Institute Of Cost and Management Accountant Of Pakistan and got his One Year Post Graduate degree in 2007.
After this, Sarfaraz Khan changed his mind due to his attraction with the journalism field and took admission in Mass Communication Department, University of Karachi. In 2009, he had completed his Masters in Mass Communication with excellent numbers, and prepared himself to enter in the journalism field.
Early Career
Sarfaraz Khan started his career as Officer Finance and Taxation in Meezan Ship Breaker and Zamin Container in 2005. His responsibilities were to maintain income and sales tax, to maintain cash and expenses, preparation of dis. of Payroll, e-filing and correspondence, maintain markup and preparation of final account. In 2010, Sarfaraz Khan left this job and got a chance to join one of the leading commercial banks of Pakistan, Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB). He had worked there for almost 6 months as Officer General Banking.

Sarfaraz Khan had started his journalism career from Sun TV as News Anchor in 2011 and worked there for almost 5 months. In October 2011, Sarfaraz Khan got a chance to join popular business news channel of Pakistan, Business Plus. He joined the channel as a Journalist and News Anchor. During this period, Sarfaraz Khan learned much about the presentation of news and news making. He had worked hard and proved himself as a talented and dedicated journalist.
After associated with the channel for almost one and a half year, Sarfaraz Khan resigned from Business Plus and joined one of the leading news channels of Pakistan, Dawn News in March 2013. He had joined Dawn News as News Anchor and worked there for approximately 6 months. In August 2013, Sarfaraz Khan left Dawn News and joined Abb Takk News Network as News Anchor.
