free wifiKarachi: Capital of the province of Sindh, Karachi is facing water crisis but the provincial government has announced to introduce free WiFi service in all over the city. Minister of Information and Local Government of Sindh, Sharjeel Inam Memon has announced to modernize the street light of Karachi city with LED lights and free WiFi connectivity in the city for public.

While inaugurating a sport complex in Landhi, Minister of Information and Local Government said that the provincial government has spent Rs.120 million on this complex to provide indoor and outdoor sports facilities to the public. Minister has also announced to start mega development projects in the city including replacing of street light into LED lights with CCTV cameras. Those LED lights will also provide free WiFi connectivity for the residents of the metropolitan city.

After this announcement, people on social media are criticizing the Sindh Government for their careless attitude to solve the basic problems of the city. People are saying that they do not have enough water to drink because city is facing water crises but the Sindh Government is using its resources to provide free WiFi service in the city.

People are making fun of this announcement by saying that the residents of the Karachi will download Water, Jobs, Roti, Kapra, Makaan and Education via Free WiFi service.
