Senior Singer Alamgir will leave for USA for Kidney Transplantation. He is fighting a kidney disease from many years with severe pain. He is going to Atlanta, USA to get relief from pain and his kidneys will be removed in order to get kidney transplantation next year. It is expected that the surgery will be done by mid of June at a hospital in Atlanta “Atlanta’s Emory Hospital” which is considered to be the best hospital in America according to the singer Alamgir.
Once he will reach Atlanta he will undergo complete tests in order to ascertain if he can bare long and painful surgery. Sometimes a third kidney is placed in the person with removal of the third one but in the case of Alamgir it is not possible because his kidneys are so enlarged that there is no space for third one to be placed.
Alamgir also told that due to his medical condition it is difficult for him to breathe properly. After surgery it will take minimum five to six months to fully recover from the pain and will come back to his homeland Pakistan and wait for next year to get his kidney transplanted. He also added that government promised him to donate 5 million rupees for his surgery but he only got 2 million rupees and remaining amount he managed himself by different means and hard work.
