Shahida KaziSenior journalist and first female reporter of Print Media Shahida Kazi is a shining example of journalism who consists unique style in journalism. Shahida Qazi was born in the family of prominent scholar Allama Qazi II in the year 1944 in Karachi as she belongs to the village near Dadu “Path”.

Shahida Kazi who believes that the role of the press in reporting is better than channels was the first student who completed her Master in journalism from the University of Karachi in the year 1965. She is currently working as Head dept. of media studies and media marketing/advertising at Institute Of Business Management as she has also remained as Chairperson of Mass Communication’s department of Jinnah University for Women and University of Karachi. Hundreds of her students are serving in the field of journalism as an entire generation got benefited from her. Shahida Kazi completed her matriculation from St. Lawrence Convent School and later she graduated from St. Joseph’s College in 1963.

Senior journalist Shahida Kazi has also worked as senior news editor at Pakistan Television Corporation and staff correspondent at Daily Dawn. Initially she also got attracted towards advertising sector as she has spent some time Radio Pakistan too and after that she began her race of career with PTV’s subsidiaries “Asian television service”.
