Karachi: “Sawa 14 August” a play by Anwar Maqsood will stage its first show on 13th August and will run till 30th October at Arts Council of Pakistan. Dawar Mehmood has directed the play whereas as KopyKats Production is presenting the play.
“Sawa 14 August” is the sequel of Anwar Maqsood’s super hit play “Pawnay 14 August”. In this play Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Zia-ul-Haq will be confronting Quaid-e-Azam face-to-face by a political commentary. According to the producers this play “Sawa 14 August” is silent message for those who are sleepy, ignorant and impolite public and the leading political leaders of Pakistan.
“Shattered Dreams” is Original Soundtrack (OST) of this play which is composed and arranged by Abbas Ali Khan. Taimoor Mirza have mixed and mastered this song. Tickets of “Sawa 14 August” are available at Butlers Chocolate Cafe, Zamzama.
First teaser of “Sawa 14 August” is now out and is becoming popular among the audience. The teaser concept is given by Talal Jillani. Abbass Ali Khan has given score whereas Usman Mukhtar has given directed and shot the teaser.
