One of the senior most journalists of Pakistani electronic media industry Mubashir Lucman has been badly insulted by team Wikileaks on social media. On the famous online social networking service Twitter, program host and media personality Mubashir Lucman has tweeted that the founder of Wikileaks Julian Assange had once told him that MQM was paid by the Indians. Another renowned journalist and television host Nadeem Malik retweeted it and asked Julian Assange about the authenticity of this news associated with MQM funding.
“Julian Assange was right when years back he first shared with me that MQM was paid by Indians,” Mubashir Lucman tweeted.
Quick reply of Wikileaks in this regards was shocking for the users of Twitter, in which the organization Wikileaks has categorically disowned the association of Julian Assange on this issue. Soon after the reply of Wikileaks on behalf of Julian Assange, Mubashir Lucman has deleted his tweet and withdraws himself from the issue very quietly.
It is not the first time that Mubashir Lucman reported false news but we have seen it many times before, specially when he reported the killings of protestors last year, in Islamabad sit inn and then it was revealed that not even single person was dead on that occasion.
