Karachi: Media in Pakistan has seen a rise in Pakistan during last decade and a half, as a result of this rise media has made a huge impact on almost every aspect of life and every industry or sector. Sector of education has been effected by of this impact. School of tomorrow Festival has included media and digital technologies in one of the themes of the discussion at the festival this year.

Stalwarts of Pakistani media industry will be talking at various aspects where media can impact education and how media can be helpful in reshaping education in the future and schooling of tomorrow.

Daniyal Noorani, creator of Quaid se Baatain, will be talking about “Doremon, Dubbed Cartoons and Our Children: Cultural Invasion Redefined.” Famous Filmmaker Jami will be part of panel discussion on “The Influence of Electronic Media on Young People.” Star Anchorperson Shahzaib Khanzada will be part of a panel discussion on “Impact of Economic Progress on Environment.” Face of Pakistan’s fashion industry Vaneeza Ahmed is part of panel discussion on importance of healthy food. Star of English column writing Norbert Almeida will be talking about “Keeping Your Child Digitally Safe.”

Many media personalities are also going to be panel moderators at School of Tomorrow 2015 such as Ayesha Tammy Haq who is moderating session on de-weaponisation, Pakistan’s leading anchorperson Gharida Farooqi will be moderating session on “Public & Private Education Partnerships.” Multitalented actress, TV host, and educationist Nadia Jamil will be moderating session on “Freedom Of Expression.”
