Lahore: Mathira, model and an actress has demanded Rs. 4 lacs for an item song in ‘Super girl’ movie. According to the details, the movie maker Johnny Malik approached Mathira for the song for which she demanded hefty amount of Rs. 4 lacs. After which he has set to consider some one else for the song.
Johnny Malik said that we are often criticized for not giving chance to the television and fashion industry artist to work in the film industry. He clarified the blame by stating that the tv and fashion industry artists demand hefty amount for their work when approached for any movie.
Malik said that if these artists co operate with us then, we can also produce good movies. Stating his opinions about Mathira, the movie maker said that she is a good artist and holds strong thinking about Pakistan film trade but she should re-think about considering her charging amounts for her work, he suggested.
Mathira is a name in the fashion industry that is known for her boldness. She has also met criticisms often for her bold ramp walks, night shows and doing a topless shoot for a Pakistani fashion magazine. Despite these, she enjoys large fan following.
