Ibrahim Raja is one of the most experienced journalists of Pakistani electronic media industry. He had completed his graduation in Journalism from Punjab University in 2000 and moved to Rawalpindi for Masters Education. In 2002, Ibrahim Raja had completed his Masters in Mass Communication from PMAS-Aris Agricultural University, Rawalpindi.
During his studies, Ibrahim Raja proved himself as a student with extra ordinary skills and his attraction towards journalism had always motivated him to join the media industry.
Ibrahim Raja had started his journalism career in 2003, as a Sub Editor in Radio Pakistan and learned a lot from his first experience. After approximately one year, he left Radio Pakistan and joined Pakistan’s largest media group Geo News in 2004. He was appointed as a copy editor in Geo News but later on he was promoted as a Press Editor, due to his professional skills.
Ibrahim Raja was sent to Dubai Media City by the management of the channel, after giving him charge as a Press Editor.
He had left Geo News after associating with the channel for almost 6 years and joined Samaa Television as a Bureau Chief, Islamabad in 2010. After taking charge as a Bureau Chief Islamabad, Ibrahim Raja had taken some positive steps to improve the quality of news. He has an honour to break many exclusive stories from the capital of the country and had been appreciated many times by the management of the channel.
In January 2015, Ibrahim Raja left Samaa TV and joined another big media group, Bol Network. He was appointed as a Vice President and Bureau Chief Islamabad for Bol News.
When many popular journalists left Bol News after Axact fake degree scandal, Ibrahim Raja stand on his position to face the problems and refused to leave the channel in its difficult time. He also led several protests in Islamabad against the restrictions on Bol News by the government.
According to the sources of Pakistani media industry, Ibrahim Raja had some serious reservations with the management of the channel over the salaries issue due to which he left the channel. After that Ibrahim Raja joined Dunya Media Group as a Bureau Chief Islamabad.
