Lahore: Model and actress Zara Sheikh has said that singing is her hobby while acting is her passion. She said that she has never declinedof working for television screens. ‘I am working on TV project these days’ she added.
Zara expressed these views in an interview. According to her, success is a long journey of hardships. In the showbiz industry, intelligent steps should be taken. She considers herself lucky. Modeling earned her fame and among the reputable ones. She attributes the multi-national company that starred her as the ambassador of the mobile device the key contributor.
Zara spoke that it was the golden era of the Pakistani film industry when she stepped into the showbiz. She signed Urdu movie’ Teray payar main’ that casted Shan as hero against her. The movie proved to be a success after which the model cum actress got various offers. However, she was signed selective of them.
In reply to a question Zara said movie ‘Devdas’ directed by Iqbal Kashmiri is ready to be screened. The movie is based on Bengali movie. Earlier it had the legendary Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar and K.L. Sehgal. The re-make of the movie casted beautiful Aishwariya and King Khan, Shahrukh. Paksitani movie makers have not made it in their own way, said the actress.
The actress said that I have earned reputable name through my good work. Working in India is not a crime, she said. But I would not prefer to do any such thing which would bring disgrace to me, my family and my country. I am approached by many Indians for movies but I had not shown interest. She said that I have much work to do hence I am selective about my work. Every project, I do have something different to offer. ‘I will not ever do ay such thing which my religion does not permit neither my society’, she added.
In an answer to a question she said that our lives are not hidden from the cameras of media. I am busy with my professional life and hence have no time for love relationships, answered her.
