BolContract between one of the biggest media groups of Pakistan, ARY News and Bol Network has ended now. According to the announcement by the management of Bol Network on their official page, Salman Iqbal was not showing any interest to take over Bol and step backward from the deal. In the month of August, ARY CEO Salman Iqbal had announced to take over Bol in order to rescue the channel from crisis and announced to launch the much awaited television channel in 30 days, but now the contract has officially ended.

On the other hand, management of Bol Network has shut down the test transmission of Bol News and closed its all the offices, including head office of Karachi. Previously, the management of the channel had closed the pick and drop service before Eid ul Azha and announced 3 days holiday on account of Eid. When the employees reached the office after Eid holidays, all the departments were closed and all of them were gathered in cafeteria. On Wednesday, all the offices were closed by the management and it seems that the chapter of this new media group has closed now.

On the other hand, Bol employees have showed their serious concerns over this issue and asked the journalists unions to do something for the career of around 2000 workers. It is to be noted that Bol employees have not received salary from the last six months.
