Actress Ayesha Omer forced producer of movie Karachi Se Lahore to include item song. Now a days item songs are quite popular even in Pakistani movies. The competition among actresses to perform item song has increased.
Many TV actresses till now have been seen in item songs including Mahnoor Baloch, Mathira, Zhalay Sarhadi, Ayesha Omer and Mehwish Hayat but only Mehwish Hayat gained popularity.
According to sources Ayesha Omer forced producer of movie Karachi Se Lahore on her own wish, to include an item song. A private TV channel pressurized Ayesha Omer that if she will perform an item song in upcoming movie they will invest in the movie and buy it.
Whereas the showbiz industry instead of supporting has criticized her performance in Item song. Although many actresses have performed in Item songs but the fame which Mehwish Hayat got from Hamayun Saeed’s Movie none other achieved, she was paid Rs 2 Million which was more than the amount any of the other Item Girl got paid.
Mahnoor Baloch earned much fame from the Item Song but suddenly she disappeared from the Industry. On the other hand Director Asim Raza while talking about Item Songs said that it is not a bad thing, his upcoming movie Ho Mann Jahaan which purely is a dessi Movie has no place no place for Item song which actually are meant for Massalah Movies.
