Senior Producer Amir Malik Dies in a road Accident in Dera Ismail Khan. Amir Malik was producer of the program ‘Off The Record’ at ARY News which is hosted by Kashif Abbasi. Amir was travelling to his native city Dera Ismail Khan on Friday night along with 3 others. The journey sadly didn’t concluded successfully. Amir’s car met accident in DI Khan he died, whereas the other 3 accompanying him received injuries of minor nature.
Amir Malik was working with ARY News for the past five years he worked in the capacity of a producer of the program ‘Off The Record’. He has been effectively carrying out his duties as a producer with ARY News which included pre-program research along with coordination for the program. Producer plays an important role behind the camera. It won’t be wrong to say that producer is the life line of the program and even a single program is not possible to be recorded/aired without the producer.
Kashif Abbasi host of the program who has been working with Amir Malik for a number of years said that Amir was the key member of their show and was a great producer. Anchorpersons along with Journalists and politicians expressed grief over the sad demise.
