One of the most senior journalists of Pakistani media industry, Muhammad Usman has left Dunya News. Muhammad Usman was working as a Director News on Dunya News and moved to Lahore from Karachi for this purpose. He has recently posted status on his official Facebook profile regarding his resignation from Dunya News, but didn’t talked about joining another channel yet. According to Pakistan media correspondent Rameen Fatima, Muhammad Usman likely to rejoin biggest news channel of Pakistan, Geo News and settlements regarding his rejoining are ongoing. In July last year, Muhammad Usman had left Bol News where he was working as Senior Vice President.
Muhammad Usman had started his journalism career in 1993 as a Sub Editor, from Nawaiwaqt Newspaper, Lahore. Just because of his dedication and hard work, he had worked with many local and international news agencies on different positions. After few years, Muhammad Usman entered into Pakistani electronic media industry with biggest news channel, Geo News in 2002 as Deputy Editor. During his association with the channel for almost 13 years, Muhammad Usman had been promoted to several key positions in the channel.
In early 2015, he had left Geo News and joined Bol News, but unfortunately left the channel after Axact scandal and joined Dunya News.
