Wajahat Saeed Khan Joins Dunya Media Group

Wajahat S KhanOne of the most senior investigative journalist Wajahat Saeed Khan has joins Dunya Media Group. He has joined Dunya Media Group as Chief National Security Correspondent and will lead its National Security Desk in Islamabad. He is one of the few multimedia journalists of Pakistan and is widely known for his exclusive investigative stories, specially on security, transparency and conflict related issues. Wajahat Saeed Khan had been associated with several top local and international media groups and also reported from India and Afghanistan on many occasions.

Wajahat Saeed Khan had started his journalism career in 2003 from the largest media group of Pakistan, Jang/Geo News as Manager of News Product Development and Strategy. After proving his skills, he had left Geo in 2007 and joined another big media group, Dawn News as a host. He is the first Pakistani journalist who had started an investigative series for his show “Talk Back”, from India. He had also launched “We Are Soldiers”, a documentary series on the Pakistan military, which was unfortunately banned by PEMRA, later on.

He had hosted program “Ikhtilaf” from Aaj News from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, he returned back to Geo News as a National Security Editor. Later on he joined Bol Network but left the media group after Axact scandal. Wajahat Saeed Khan had also associated with several international media groups including BBC and CNN. Recently, he has been also appointed as Correspondent for Pakistan, NBC News.

Wajahat Saeed Khan is honoured to be a first a Pakistani who had nominated as a fellow at Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy, Harvard University.
