After 11 years of association with popular entertainment channel Hum TV, Shahnaz Ramzi has resigned from the channel. Shahnaz Ramzi had been working as a General Manager Public Relations and Publications of Hum Television. According to the sources of media industry, Shahnaz Ramzi has finally decided to launch her own PR and event management company, with the name of “Starlinks”. Her son and daughter-in-law will be also part of this company and work as her left and right hands. While talking to an English Pakistani newspaper, Shahnaz Ramzi told that “Star” is the name her family company, while “Links” generally describes communication.
Shahnaz Ramzi had started her career as a freelance journalist in 1994 and she had written for many publications in not only Pakistan but also in other foreign countries as well. She had been also associated with Dubai based newspaper, Emirates Today as Correspondent for Karachi. Shahnaz Ramzi had been also nominated for Gender in Journalism Award by UNESCO, couple of times and received Best Journalist Award by Mandoob. She is also socially active personality and associated with several social organizations and NGO’s.
It is to be noted that Shahnaz Ramzi has planned to launch her own company by the end of this year.
