In the wake of the launch of various new channels, the news media industry of Pakistan is undergoing a major change where anchors are seen shifting from one channel to the other. Senior News Anchor Faisal Abbasi is also among those media persons. He has joined Dunya News after resigning from Dawn News.
Talking to our correspondent, Mr. Abbasi told that he has connected with Dunya News. Faisal has three years of experience as a news anchor. He has formerly worked in Dawn News, Capital TV, Such TV and PTV. He started off his career from Radio Pakistan in the year 2007 and has hosted more than 2000 radio shows. The fine looking young man belongs to Abbottabad and has been brought up in Islamabad. Writing poetry and listening to music are his favourite leisure-time activities.
Lately a number of upcoming news channels have initiated the process of hiring recognized media personalities from the most watched news channels to draw the audience towards them. Thus these channels, in order to fill spaces, are appointing each other’s employees.
