The students of Mass Communication Department of Jinnah University for Women are on protest nowadays. The protest was started from 18th of June after a student named Asna Khan was badly beaten by the Dean of Science Ghufrana. The reason behind this unethical and immoral attitude of the Dean was an application written by the students to close the university or to cut off the timings during the Holy month of Ramzan.
A group of students in the Jinnah University for Women have submitted their application in the Administration department and then gathered outside the office of Dean of Science. Suddenly Dean of Science Ghufrana came to the students and used abusive language for them. She had also badly beaten one student whose name is Asna Khan for taking part in the peaceful protest. Dean of Science also snatched mobiles of many girls and locked them in the hall with the help of other teachers.
When media came to the University for reporting and getting views of both the students and the administration, the officials from the administration tried to mislead the media representatives. The VC and other management of the Jinnah University for Women are also not taking any step against the Dean of Science.
Students of the Jinnah University for Women have demanded serious action against the management and Dean of Science. The campaign against the injustice and bad behavior of the management is also started on social media.
