Lahore: Famous Indian actor Om Puri is in favor of releasing Pakistani channels in India. He wants the government of India to lift ban from Pakistani movies and channel from India. Om Puri said that he has enjoyed Pakistani movie “Khuda Ke Liye”. Actor Om is praising about the story of this movie. He wants to visit Pakistan but he is scared of the current situation of Kashmiri students of Indian universities supporting Pakistani cricket team.
My reason of scaring was wrong; I have received warm welcome from Pakistani people actor expressed. Actor Om Puri and actress Divya Dutta are in Pakistan these days. They both are going to perform in a play called “Teri Amrita”. They will be performing at the Alhamra Art Centre. Actor has said that his wish to see the Lahore has got fulfilled, he could not get chance to see Lahore, when he came to Pakistan before.
Actor Om Puri is going to celebrate his birthday in Lahore. Burfi Theatre Production is going to arrange the stage performance. Actor has further said that he has done a couple of movies against Pakistan, but he is sorry for that. He will not work in those movies anymore which are against of Pakistan.
