Islamabad: Nawaz Sharif’s personal photographer Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti has passed away on Monday as he was suffering from liver cancer. State Minister Khurram Dastagir, Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid, MNA Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Raja Zafarul Haq and other officials attended Zulfiqar Ali Balti’s funeral prayer at Sector G-10.
Photographer Zulfiqar Ali Balti was admitted at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) for his treatment. He left a widow and 3 children as he was buried at H-11 graveyard at Islamabad. Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif expressed a state of sorrow and grief over the death of Zulfiqar Ali Balti whereas National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and other politicians also conveyed their sympathy to Zulfiqar Ali Balti’s family.
The Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif visited his personal photographer at Pims last month along with his wife Kulsoom Nawaz as he was very close to PM although he had a noticeable standing in the field of photography. Balti professional skills have proved him successfully in photography and his services will always be remembered in this manner. Prime Minister and Chief Minister prayed that may his soul rest in peace and may Allah grant courage to his family over their great demise.
