Leading actress, host, model and fashion designer Nadia Hussain termed Imran Khan as a fashion icon in the politics of Pakistan. While having an interview in the comedy show Banana News Network or BNN, she was asked that is the fashion icon in the politics of Pakistan. The immediate answer of Nadia Khan was “Imran Khan”, the chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf or PTI. She said that Imran Khan attracts much more than other politicians of Pakistan because of his great personality. Nadia Hussain also included that Imran Khan may have millions of fans including actors and other personalities and she is also one of them.
There are many actors and other television personalities who have participated in the Islamabad Sitting (Dharna) by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf which was started in the month of August last year. Many actors and actresses attended the Dharna for the cause of “Naya Pakistan”, slogan given by Imran Khan to rebuilt Pakistan. Therefore it was unfortunately called off by Imran Khan after Peshawar school attack without receiving any advantage.
