Famous journalist and anchorperson Hamid Mir leaves Geo News to join newly launched GNN while another senior journalist Nadeem Malik has resigned from his post in Samaa TV.
The news of Hamid Mir joining G News Network (GNN) was revealed by anchor person Salman Hassan who is also part of GNN. He tweeted pictures of Hamid Mir in studio of GNN.

Hamid Mir has joined the channel as the president, while his brother Amir Mir was already working in the channel as Chief Operating Officer.

Until now he has not yet confirmed his departure from Geo and the reason why he chose to leave Geo after 16 years is also not clear. He started his career in 2002 through talkshow ‘Capital Talk’ which was aired from Geo News.

On the same day Nadeem Malik revealed his resignation from Samaa TV through a tweet on his official twitter account. There are rumours that he may also join the newly established channel but till now there is no official statement. He did not reveal the reason for resignation.
