Kamal RizviOne of the most famous actors and play writers of Pakistani television industry, Kamal Rizvi passed away in Karachi. Kamal Rizvi is died in Karachi on Thursday and he was ill from the last few months. His Namaz e Janaza was offered in Askari Masjid, near Cantt Station, after which he was buried in DHA graveyard. In the funeral ceremony of Kamal Rizvi, many popular showbiz celebrities and representatives of Karachi Arts Council have participated. While talking to the media, his colleagues and juniors have paid tribute to him and prayed that may his soul rest in peace.

Kamal Rizvi was born in the Indian state of Bihar, in 1930 and migrated to Pakistan in 1958. He was settled in Karachi after migration and then moved to Lahore. Kamal Rizvi had started his career from theatre, where his drama “Bala Ki Badzaat” becomes popular. He had written many plays for the television and his popular plays are Chor Machaye Shor, Mera Hamdam Mera Dost, Alif Noon, Mr. Shaitan and Art Gallery. He had also given direction as well in few of his own written dramas. His acting performance as “Allan” in Alif Noon was highly appreciated by the viewers.

Fans and co-artists of Kamal Rizvi have expressed grief and sorrow on his death and prayed that may Allah bless his soul rest in peace.
