Karachi: In Karachi press club an association has launched for the women journalist with name “The Association for Women”. This association was organized specially for women. The president of this association Durdana Shahab says that it was necessary to launch this association for the journalist’s women. She said that this is the best way for women to find a good job. She said that men can search a job easily through their age fellow, but it is very difficult to find a good job for women.
This association will help unemployed women to find a good job. According to the well renowned anchor Mehtab Akbar Rashidi, that we are still backward according to this era. She forces media to open a day care centre at their centers, because it is very difficult for working women to run their houses, while doing job. MPA (Member of the provincial assembly) Erum Farooqi of the MQM said that we will support for women empowerment.
PTI’s (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) Seema Zia says that our women journalists are very brave and go those places where we feel insecure to go. Sharmila Farooqi, Nusrat Sehar Abbasi and Sanam Jaffri and Commissioner Shoaib Siddiqui commissioner also attended a launch ceremony.
