Ashraf Malkham

Senior Journalist Ashraf Malkham joins Geo News after leaving 92 News Channel. Ashraf Malkham will now work with Geo News as Special Correspondent. He will be having responsibility and full authority in covering special events and important stories.

He has served for several years in Pakistan Television (PTV) as chief editor. At PTV he was advisor to MD PTV Yousaf Baig Mirza and also remained a very close friend of him. He has previously worked for The News as Senior Correspondent for a long time, Geo News as Journalist from 2002-2007, Samaa TV as Journalist and Senior Correspondent, 92 News as Executive Producer.

He was fired from PTV due to administrative problems. He was also terminated from Samaa TV and remained jobless for 8 months before joining 92 News.

Ashraf Malkham graduated from Punjab University (PU), before joining PU he was studying at FC College Lahore. Geo News is the most popular local News Channel that is a project of leading Jang Group. Geo TV started its regular transmission in October 2002. It was one of the most watched channels of that time. Geo TV now has grown into five different channels covering news, entertainment and sports.
