Adnan Sami Amjad SabriFamous Qawwal of Pakistan Amjad Sabri has decided to go in court against the popular singer Adnan Sami, for the copy rights of the “Bhar Do Jholi Meri …” qawwali. Amjad Sabri has claimed that the original composition of the popular qawwali “Bhar Do Jholi” was actually made by his late father Ghulam Farid Sabri, but Adnan Sami has copied it without taking any permission. The recently issue video of qawwali Bhar Do Jholi is recited by Adnan Sami, which is added in the upcoming Bollywood film of Salman Khan, “Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

In the latest issued version of Bhar Do Jholi qawwali, Adnan Sami has mentioned his name on its composition, however the claim of Amjad Sabri is that it is originally composed and recited by his late father. Amjad Sabri said that the whole world knows that the popular qawwali was recited and composed by his father, Ghulam Farid Sabri, but Adnan Sami has as it is copied it.

Amjad Sabri has also clearly said that he will definitely go to the courts of not only Pakistan, but in India also for the copyrights of this qawwali. However, Adnan Sami has not issued any statement on this controversy yet.
