Amar GuriroAmar Guriro is an Environmental Journalist and Blogger. He studied Mass Communication from University of Sindh and went to US State Department in 2011. He has worked with many experienced people in the field of Journalism for example, Steve Inskeep, Julie McCarthy, Nicholos Schmidle, Griff Witte and others.

He has been doing freelance contributions to Newsweek Pakistan since 2014, The News on Sunday since 2013, and Monthly Pique Islamabad since 2012 and contributed to United Poem International. He has been working as a freelance journalist and also worked as environmental reporter. He has also contributed to BBU and became staff reporter for Pakistan Today from 2010-2012. He has been associated with Regional Times as staff reporter from 2007-2010 and also worked with Daily Times.

Amar Guriro has contributed a publication in 2012 titled “A Fatal Affairs” in which a research oriented study was carried out about the three Hindus doctors that were shot dead. He has also been associated with National Council of Environmental Journalists (NCEJ) since 2013 and worked for environmental causes. He has also carried out projects like “My Stories” and “WAshMedia-South Asia”. He is an experienced environmental journalist and has good skills of storytelling, investigative reporting, documentary making and photography along with other skills.
