London: Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s chairman Altaf Hussain said to government and all official authorities to stop ban on geo news and do not interrupt the transmissions of Geo News. Altaf Hussain asked to stop ban on Geo news while addressing to the 18th annual convocation of MQM America at Washington.
The leader of MQM Altaf Hussain also said in this regard that numbers of complaints are receiving continuously that Geo News’s broadcastings are off and its transmission is interrupted in several areas too due to which Geo News’s audiences are facing difficulty. [alert style=”white”]I appeal again to government and authorities to stop ban on Geo News now, Altaf Hussain added.[/alert] Altaf Hussain further said while condemning the Geo ban that further Geo suspension is similar to deprivation from free media because freedom of media is the right of everyone so Geo ban should be over now.
While talking about political condition in Pakistan these days, Altaf Hussain criticized the call of civil disobedience of Imran Khan which he announced during his speech in Azadi March at Islamabad. Furthermore, he claimed that civil disobedience’s call is totally an inappropriate act as Imran Khan is awakening citizens towards an illegal act which does not suit on any political leader.
