Early Life:
She was born on 5th January, 1982 in the metropolitan city of Karachi. She completed her schooling from F.G Minwalla Girls High School and then higher studies from Karachi. Later she completed Masters in Urdu and English Literature from Karachi University.
She married Mubasher Humayun in 2007 and is now mother of two kids, a son named Mohammed Suleman Humayun and a daughter named Jehan Aara Humayun. Currently she is settled in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire (UK) with her husband and visits Pakistan regularly.
Professional Career:
Initially Faiza Hassan started her professional career as a model and worked with some renowned fashion houses but rather than continuing modeling she joined Pakistan’s drama industry.
She worked in different drama serials performing different roles. Her debut in the industry was in 2003 through drama Sahil Ki Tamana which was aired on PTV but what made her popular as an actress was her role in Wujood-e-Laraib. She played the lead role of Washma Kaleem in the serial which had 17 episodes, it was written by Umera Ahmed and was aired on PTV.
Later she appeared in many popular serials such as:

- Mehrbaan House
- Sahil Ki Tamanna
- Mahpara
- Mahe Neem
During the same period she also worked for many TV commercials which reveal her success in Pakistan TV industry for many years. After marriage she stopped working from the drama industry and rather joined Spectrum DY & R as Creative Manager.
But later she made a comeback to the showbiz industry and staring working for different serials and telefilms such as Mizaji-e-Khuda and Jazeera.
This is why she is not an old PTV actress who is remembered for her previous works rather she is still part of the industry working in different drama serials and movies such as she performed the role of Baby Baji in Load Wedding and appeared in drama serial Kho Gaya Wo.
When asked about her favourite actors she said Jack Nicholson, Michael Cain and Marlin Brando are her favourite actors while Meryl Streep, Nargis, Sakina Samo and Khalida Riyasat are her favourite actresses.
