Famous religious scholar and senior host of Pakistani television industry Dr. Aamir Liaquat Husain has resigned as President Geo Entertainment. In his tweets on famous social media website Twitter, Aamir Liaquat stated that the anchors of Geo News have presented news by wearing Army Public School uniform to show solidarity with the parents of martyred kids. But it looks that this practice has been done just for the entertainment. He said in his tweets that this is not solidarity even this is just nonsense to have attention of the viewers.
Aamir Liaquat said that all the mothers of martyred kids who have saw this act, may have felt unaffordable pain. He said that the newscasters should have to convey the message of bravery, determination and to stand against terrorism, instead of wearing uniform which looks so odd.

Aamir Liaquat also stated that he has contacted higher authorities of the channel to end this nonsense but no one has given positive response. He has announced that he has resigned as a President of Geo Entertainment, but will work in the group as a host and columnist.

It is to be noted that Aamir Liaquat Husain was appointed as a President Geo Entertainment last month, and he had been working as Vice President before this promotion.
