Karachi: Anjuman Taraqi Pasand Musannefin Pakistan’s Union General Secretary Saleem Raz said that the prominent story writer Krishan Chandar has played a significant role in Taraqi Pasand Tehreek. Saleem Raz expressed his views while addressing to the seminar on Krishan Chandar and his art which has been organized regarding centenary celebrations of story writer Krishan Chandar.
Saleem Raz said during his address that Krishan Chandar has political vision despite of not taking part in practical politics. The seminar was held under the presidency of Union President of Anjuman Taraqi Pasand Musannefin Pakistan advocate Saleem Shamim. Hamid Ali Syed took charged of all the systems of seminar while Dr. Syed Jaffar Ahmed present welcomed speech during seminar. Saba Ikram, Owais Qarni, Professor Shahid Kamal, Rasheed Misbah and Kiran Singh were included in the seminar as speakers.
Union President of Anjuman Taraqi Pasand Musannefin Pakistan advocate Saleem Shamim has organized big function in the memory of Krishan Chandar in 1982 at Sukkur and now again this event was organized by the Saleem Shamim in order to pay tribute to the most eminent story writer Krishan Chandar. Saba Ikram said while addressing to the event that Krishan Chandar was multi-dimensional writer as his written stories cannot be forgotten. Dr Dr. Syed Jaffar Ahmed said that it is the century of Krishan Chandar and soon national conference will be organized regarding urdu literature of Krishan Chandar.
